Chile team doctors have confirmed striker Humberto Suazo will be fit for Saturday's 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ World Cup qualifier against Paraguay despite missing training for the past two days. The Monterrey player left the session early yesterday because of a sprained ankle.

But Dr Carlos Montes said: "Suazo is training with some precautions and protections but is not in doubt for Saturday. Yesterday's early finish was planned. It has nothing to do with the injury getting worse."

Suazo is Chile's leading scorer in the qualifying so far, with five goals in 12 games. Chile have impressed in their campaign to date and lie third, three points clear of Uruguay who currently occupy the play-off berth.
