Robin van Persie and Demy de Zeeuw have joined up with the Netherlands squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers, but Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong has left the training camp in Katwijk to be at the birth of his second child.

Oranje coach Bert van Marwijk has a fully-fit 21-man squad at his disposal - with the exception of Wesley Sneijder (hamstring) and Ibrahim Afellay (ankle), who were ruled out last week of the double header against Iceland on Saturday and Norway next Wednesday.

Arsenal forward Van Persie is in contention after having four wisdom teeth extracted.  AZ Alkmaar midfielder De Zeeuw has been struggling with a virus, but he too has recovered.
