Morocco have handed recalls to defender Abdeslam Ouaddou and striker Nourdin Boukari for their FIFA World Cup™ qualifier against Gabon at the end of the month, with coach Roger Lemerre gently tweaking this squad.

Ouaddou is back after a spell out with injury, having missed February's friendly against the Czech Republic. Dutch-born Boukari returns to the squad after a much longer spell on the sidelines, having played last for Morocco when they beat Namibia in a friendly match in Rabat in October 2007.

There is also a first call-up for goalkeeper Karim Fegrouch from Wydad Casablanca, who is also the only home based player among the 31 called up.

Lemerre has to do without first choice full back Mickael Chretien, who is injured, and has dropped four others from the last squad named for February's friendly.

Morocco host Gabon in their opening match of Group A of the final phase of the African qualifiers for the 2010 FIFA World Cup finals in South Africa. The match is in Casablanca on Saturday 28 March. Morocco will then go to Lisbon to play a friendly against Angola on Tuesday, March 31.
