Italy coach Marcello Lippi named two uncapped players in his 25-man squad for the international friendlies against the Netherlands on Saturday and Sweden four days later.

Davide Biondini of Cagliari and Livorno's Antonio Candreva have been given the chance to make their first appearance for the world champions. Italy, who qualified last month for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™, take on the Netherlands in Pescara before hosting Sweden in Cesena four days later.

The Azzurri are without the injured Alessandro Gamberini, Gennaro Gattuso, Claudio Marchisio, Gaetano D'Agostino, Pepe and Vincenzo Iaquinta. Lippi has included red-hot strikers Antonio Di Natale and Giampaolo Pazzini. Udinese's Di Natale is Serie A's top scorer with nine goals while Pazzini has struck seven so far for Sampdoria.
