Brazil coach Dunga on Monday called up Sao Paulo midfielder Hernanes to replace injured Manchester United player Anderson for forthcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ qualifiers against Chile and Bolivia. Hernanes, who won bronze with Brazil at the Beijing Olympics, was set to join Brazil's training camp at Granja Comary, in Rio de Janeiro, on Tuesday.

It was Dunga's second change to his initial squad following the arrival of striker Nilmar, who plays for Brazilian club Internacional, in place of injured Real Betis player Rafael Sobis. Brazil, just fifth in the 10-team South American standings, play Chile on 7 September in Santiago and Bolivia three days later at the Joao Havelange stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
