Kenyan coach Francis Kimanzi was Monday cautious on his side's hopes of participating in 2010FIFA World Cup South Africa™ and the CAF Africa Cup of Nations despite a good run in Group two qualifiers.
Kenya's weekend 0-0 draw with Zimbabwe pushed their points to seven but the team fell behind group leaders Guinea on goal difference after the latter thrashed Namibia 4-0.
"I am not looking at qualifying from the group yet. All I want is to make the group as competitive as possible," Kimanzi told reporters after arriving from Harare. "We want to make sure that we are in the mix and that we play our part in making it as hard as possible then we will see what happens."
Kimanzi vowed serious preparations ahead of final qualifying matches against Guinea and Namibia in September and October.
