Morocco have handed a replacement call-up to Wydad Casablanca's defender Younes Mankari after the withdrawal at the weekend of fullback Badr El Kaddouri. Mankari will join an 18-man squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ qualifier against Mauritania in Rabat on Saturday, which the home side must win to finish top of the Group Eight standings.
The Ukraine-based El Kaddouri was injured in action for Dynamo Kyiv in their UEFA Champions League match with Fenerbahce last Tuesday.
Morocco's coach Roger Lemerre received some good news with the decision of midfielder Nabil Dirar to accept an invitation to play for Morocco rather than Belgium, who had called him up three weeks ago.
There is also a call-up for Belgian-based fullback Salaheddine Sbai.
