England have called up Middlesbrough defender David Wheater and Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart as late additions to their squad for Wednesday's FIFA World Cup™ qualifier with Belarus in Minsk.

The pair flew straight to Minsk late on Tuesday after helping the England U-21 side reach next summer's European Championship finals in Sweden at the expense of Wales. They were set to join up with Fabio Capello's squad for a training session on the morning of the match.

Wheater comes in as cover at centre-back, where England are without injured captain John Terry, while Hart's inclusion follows the withdrawal of West Ham goalkeeper Robert Green.
