Chris Malonga and Francky Sembolo have returned to the Congo squad for next week's crucial FIFA World Cup™ qualifier against Sudan after being named in a 20-man group for the African zone Group 10 decider in Khartoum.

Coach Ivica Todorov, whose side share top place in the standings with Mali, has left out the Romania-based striker Armel Mamouna and defender Kevin Andzouama, recently released by his South African club Lamontville Golden Arrows.

Generally, however, the Serbian-born coach has kept a consistent approach after his side's 1-0 win over Mali in their last qualifier in September. Malonga, who is French-born, plays for Nancy in Ligue 1 in France and has this season also been competing with his club in the UEFA Cup.

Sembolo, who competes in German amateur football, returns after injury. Second choice goalkeeper Chancel Massa is the only home-based player selected for the Congo party.
