Algeria have stuck with the tried and tested for their decisive FIFA World Cup™ African Zone Group 6 qualifier in Liberia next week, making no major changes to their squad for the trip to Monrovia.

Group leaders Algeria will make sure progressing to the next round if they beat bottom-placed Liberia on 11 October to ensure top place in the standings. They have a one-point lead over Senegal and Gambia.

Coach Rabah Saadane, who has already been to the FIFA World Cup finals as coach, has kept the Scottish-based midfielder Brahim Hemdani despite him not yet having played for Glasgow Rangers this season.

The JS Kabylie defender Mohamed Rabie Meftah has received a recall to the squad, having won the last of his four caps some 18 months ago.
