The 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ second leg qualifier
between Myanmar and China PR, originally scheduled to be played in
Yangon, will now take place in Malaysia on 28 October. The decision
was taken after both the Myanmar Football Federation and the
Chinese Football Association requested for the contest to be played
on neutral ground.
FIFA is to finalise the exact venue, although it will not be
Kuala Lumpur which will instead host the qualifier between Malaysia
and Bahrain on the same day. China and Myanmar will contest the
first leg of their preliminary in Foshan, in southern Guangdong
province, on Sunday.
