Stadiums progress: December 2012

Little more than 15 days ahead of the construction-work deadline, finishing touches and playing-surface preparation are in progress at the Estadio Mineirao (Belo Horizonte) and the Estadio Castelao (Fortaleza) – ready for the action kicking off in June 2013 at the FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil.

Images from the competition’s other four Host Cities – Brasilia, Salvador, Recife and Rio de Janeiro – also show the works being carried out are in their latter stages. Meanwhile, the images taken from those stadiums that will only host games at the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ revealed the progress made in setting up the venues’ upper and lower tiers.
