The final whistle sounds.

FULL TIME: France are through to the quarter-finals to face either Algeria or Germany after a hard-fought win against the African champions. The deadlock was broken by Paul Pogba after a goalkeeping error by the otherwise-excellent Vincent Enyeama and a Joseph Yobo own goal finished things off in stoppage time at the end of the match.
