Portugal start the second half in Manaus as coach Paulo Bento makes one change
HALF-TIME: A very busy first-half comes to a close with Portugal up by a goal, though the Americans have had several chances to equalise. Ronaldo and Nani have been very dangerous, but Tim Howard's heroics so far have kept Jurgen Klinsmann's side in the game. This should be a screamer of a second half up ahead.

"We need the entire bench. And the players know that. They need to be ready to come on after five or 45 minutes if someone gets injured. They know exactly what to do, they know their roles and it will happen in this World Cup."
"The situation is very simple: either we win or we start to pack our bags. If it's a draw, it's the same. That's not a scenario the Portuguese are used to."
