FULL TIME: It's all over in Porto Alegre and Nigeria have been defeated, but it doesn't matter - they progress to the Round of 16 along with Group F winners Argentina. We had a blistering start at the Estadio Beira-Rio with two goals in the opening four minutes: Messi followed by Musa. The Barça star then scored a sublime free-kick minutes before the interval before Musa doubled his account just after the break. Rojo secured the victory shortly after and Nigeria's qualification was secured on the final whistle in Salvador, with Bosnia and Herzegovina running out 3-1 victors to eliminate Iran.

It's finished Bosnia and Herzegovina 3-1 Iran which means Nigeria progress to the knockout stages.

The ball is worked inside to Mascherano, who took over the captain's armband on Messi's departure, and he strikes a venomous drive at goal. Enyeama pats the ball down and collects.
The No7's set-piece is cleared by Rojo.
SIDE NETTING! The Nigeria No5 feints to shoot which fools Rojo. He steadies himself before driving at goal, it's blocked brilliantly by Garay and goes behind for a corner.
It's an incredible atmosphere inside the Estadio Beira-Rio, as the Argentina fans raise the decibel levels for the final few minutes.
Di Maria sprints clear of the Nigeria defence and is once again stopped by Enyeama, who gets down to push his left-footed effort away.
The No9 finds half a yard of space on the edge of the Argentina penalty area and tries to curl a shot, but it swerves away from Romero's goal and behind.

Two goals in quick succession do little to change the complexion of the group, as Iran pull one back before Bosnia and Herzegovina restore their two-goal cushion.

A bit of confusion in the Argentina box after a Nigeria corner leads to a blocked shot by Uchebo finding its way to Onazi. The Lazio man snatches at the shot and pulls it wide.
The corner is worked short and then crossed in to the back post. Garay manages to get a free header, but nods it just wide of the stranded Enyeama's left-hand post.
GREAT BLOCK! Musa sprints clear of the Argentina midfield and cuts inside, just like his first goal, onto his right foot. This time though, Zabaleta throws himself in front of the shot and it's cleared away.
GREAT SAVE! The free-kick is chipped by Di Maria to Lavzzi who watches the ball over his shoulder before firing a low, hard shot at goal. Enyeama is once again equal to it and pushes it behind.
The ball is worked by Nigeria to the edge of the Argentina penalty area and Odemwingie gets a touch out of his feet. With most in the stadium, including his teammates, expecting a cross, the No8 tries to chip Romero. It's collected easily by the Argentina keeper.

Onazi wins the ball from Di Maria after the Nigeria corner, and plays it forward to Odemwingie. The Stoke City man pulls the ball back to the advancing Musa who, on a hat-trick, blasts over the bar.
Lavezzi receives the ball just outside the Nigeria penalty area and drives at their defence. He fizzes a left-footed cross along the six-yard box, but Higuain can't quite get on the end of it.
Emenike picks the ball up just inside the Argentina half and drives at the Albiceleste defence. Mascherano goes in with a firm challenge and the Nigeria No9 stays down. He then gets up to his feet rather gingerly and play resumes.
This looks like a really painful one for Babatunde. Onazi's earlier venomous shot struck the winger in an awkward way in the arm. His wrist is strapped up before the No18 departs, to be replaced by the tall forward.
The skipper and double goalscorer is withdrawn, with two goals from his three shots on target.
CHANCE! Mikel is presented with an excellent opportunity after Argentina can't clear from the Nigeria corner, but his chipped effort doesn't catch out the Argentina No1, who claims with ease.
Rojo bursts down the Argentina left and tries to find his captain in the Nigeria penalty area. His cross is played slightly behind the No10, and he hits it wide.

GROUP F UPDATE
After that flurry of goals in Porto Alegre, it's still 1-0 to Bosnia and Herzegovina in Salvador. If the games stay as they are, it'll be the Super Eagles who join La Albiceleste in the Round of 16.
Messi plays Higuain in behind the Nigeria defence and he's held off by Omeruo before trying to poke past Enyeama. The Lille stopper is equal to it and the last touch comes off the Napoli man.
GOAL! ROJO PUTS ARGENTINA BACK IN FRONT! The corner is swung to the back post from the Argentina left, and after Garay nods the ball back across the box, Rojo is there to knee the ball home. It's his first international goal.
Messi's set piece is cleared as far as Di Maria, who steadies himself and thunders an effort at goal. Enyeama parries over the bar.
GOAL! MUSA AGAIN! The No7 finds himself in space inside the Argentina box and hits a sidefooted finish past Romero.
After conducting a team huddle on the pitch, Nigeria get us underway.

HALF TIME: It's some Messi magic that puts Argentina in the ascendancy at the interval. After his late heroics against Iran, the skipper opened the scoring inside three minutes today, before Musa levelled 80 seconds later. The No10 left it late, curling a beautiful free-kick past the impressive Enyeama in stoppage time at the end of the half. In the other game in Group F, already-eliminated Bosnia and Herzegovina lead Iran 1-0 thanks to Edin Dzeko's goal.
GOAL! IT'S MESSI AGAIN! Omeruo takes down the flying No10 and he spots up the set-piece himself. The Barça star lifts the ball over the wall and Enyeama is powerless to stop the curling free-kick, which lands perfectly in the back of the net. Perfect technique!
The corner is played short, and back in towards Messi, but it's cleared away.
GREAT SAVE! Messi stirkes at goal and the Super Eagles stopper flies across goal to push behind.
Messi stands over the free-kick and Enyeama is screaming at the wall to stand in the correct position.
The Manchester City man walks off the pitch, and is visibly disappointed. Argentina's No22 comes on to take his place.
Sergio Aguero is down inside the centre circle, and the Argentina medical staff run on to attend to him. Lavezzi is ready to come on.

After Aguero's shot is blocked, Messi's corner is claimed well by Enyeama under pressure from Higuain. The Napoli man is adjudged to have fouled the keeper, who returns to his feet after a short time down.
After the corner is cleared, the ball is tossed back into the box and the defender can't quite control his headed effort - it goes wide of the mark.
Di Maria hits a venomous drive from 30 yards with his left foot, but Enyeama is down to touch the bouncing effort past his left-hand post.
Ambrose makes progress down the Nigeria right, he cuts inside and passes to Odemwingie. The Stoke City forward takes a touch out of his feet and thumps an effort at goal with his left foot, but it's always rising and Romero isn't troubled.
Messi breaks down the Argentina right, who touches on to Aguero with the Manchester City forward setting up Higuain. The Napoli man touches wide to Di Maria but his effort is scuffed wide.

DID YOU KNOW?
Only twice before have two goals been scored in the first 4 minutes of a World Cup match: Austria-Czechoslovakia (3rd min and 4th min) in 1954 and Soviet Union-Hungary (2nd min and 4th min) in 1986
SIDE NETTING! Messi looks in fine form already today, he finds space on the edge of the Nigeria penalty area and pokes through to Higuain. The Argentina No9 takes a touch past Enyeama, who does his best to narrow the angle. It's fired past the post, and ripples the net.
After that barnstorming start, just a reminder of the possible outcomes from this match: if Argentina win, Nigeria could be overtaken by an Iranian victory in their game against Bosnia and Herzegovina (dependant on goal difference). A draw would see Nigeria qualify and Argentina top the group, while a Nigeria win would see the Super Eagles win Group F.
GOAL! NIGERIA ARE LEVEL IMMEDIATELY! Ahmed Musa receives the ball from Babatunde on the Nigeria left, cuts into the Argentina penalty area and curls a wonderful effort past Romero. The teams are on level terms straight away!
GOAL! IT'S MESSI! Angel Di Maria goes free down the Argentina left, and has a shot which is saved by Enyeama, rebounds off the post twice and bounces into the centre of the Nigerian penalty area. The ball sits up invitingly for the Argentina skipper and he thunders it into the net on the half volley.
Argentina get us underway.
It's a deafening atmosphere inside the Estadio Beira-Rio in Porto Alegre. The Argentina fans are certainly in fine voice.
Both sides are unchanged from their previous group matches, with John Obi Mikel and Marcos Rojo both on the suspension tightrope; each have one yellow card in the competition so far.

ANGEL DI MARIA
"I think the people who played with Diego and the guys who run out with Leo today have been very fortunate. They got the best out of Maradona then, and we need to get the best out of Messi now. I think he’s in fantastic form and let’s hope it stays that way. We should be thankful he’s Argentinian."
"What has happened with the Nigerian team is that they keep getting better game after game, so I believe when we play Argentina the confidence and the winning mentality beating Bosnia will bring will mean we will be able to do well against Argentina."
"Our aim is to be here for 30 days, but we’re not going to talk about the title. The fans should know that we’re going to keep on giving everything we have. We’re not even easing off in the training sessions. Nobody wants to miss them, which is a really good sign."

“I’m really looking forward to the game against Argentina. We will try as much as possible to keep a clean sheet. It will be difficult but we have to do that. They are the best players in the world and we have to show our quality by standing up to them. We will first of all have to make sure we get maximum points from the first two games. I watch [Lionel Messi] a lot on TV. It’s going to be a team effort to try and stop him. Everyone will have to be positive and 100 per cent focused on the game.”

GOOD AFTERNOON / BUENAS TARDES:
Hello and welcome to Group F's finale. Nigeria face Argentina hoping to join La Albiceleste in the knockout stages, while elsewhere Iran take on the already-eliminated Bosnia and Herzegovina knowing that a victory could be enough to see them into the Round of 16. A point for the African side today would be enough, but Stephen Keshi's men will be facing Lionel Messi, who is named in the starting XI despite his side being guaranteed a place in the next round.
