Vahid Halilhodzic, Côte d'Ivoire coach
Our main goal is to reach the World Cup. That's what everyone is dreaming of, especially Côte d'Ivoire, who have some fantastic players but perhaps lack the overall quality to achieve something big. It's strong group, very physical. I don't know Malawi but I do remember that they recently beat Egypt, who were African champions the last two times, so we need to be on our guard. I've got faith in my team. We've got some exceptional individuals but we need to prove ourselves on the pitch and I'm just hoping that all the players will be available. Burkina Faso finished ahead of Tunisia in winning their second-round group. They're a very resilient team and our games against them won't be foregone conclusions. There are a lot of things that need to work out and I hope I'll be able to have the whole squad available for these games.
Kinnah Phiri, Malawi coach
We need intensive preparations and we need to play strong opponents in friendlies in order for us to be ready and have a hope of reaching the World Cup.
