Foued Kadir is a French-born midfielder who started out his football career in the year 2000 at the age of 17 in the youth team of French side FC Martigues, which is where he was born. In 2004 he signed his first professional contract with third division French side AS Cannes where he stayed for three seasons and played 77 games, scoring nine goals.
In 2007 he promoted himself to the 2nd division by joining French side Amiens, but his big break came in 2009 when he moved to first division French side Valenciennes. Kadir was first summoned to serve Algeria in 2005 when he joined the U-23 side for a training camp in France. However, he has not featured in any official matches with the Desert Foxes, either with the U-23s or the senior team.
