One of the hardest-working members of the Bafana Bafana line-up, Kagiso Dikgacoi's versatility, aggression and invention have earned him admirers across South Africa since he burst onto the country's footballing scene. Indeed, his physical strength and ball-winning ability have quickly cemented his place at the heart of the national side. He is now playing his club football with English side Fulham.
Dikgacoi briefly passed through the U-23 national side before being promoted to the senior team, where his value to the squad belies his relative lack of international experience. And though a defensive midfielder by trade, he can also be dangerous going forward. Like many in this South African side, injuries have dealt him a big blow this year, and he has been on a rush to regain full fitness ahead of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™.
