Technical problems have caused significant delays in the sale of the 90,000 FIFA World Cup tickets that have become available.
From Friday, 28 May at 9.00am, there will be around 90,000 additional tickets for the 2010 FIFA World Cup available for public sale across all 64 matches.
The symbolic hand-over of the first FIFA World Cup ticket to construction workers took place at the iconic Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg today.
The final Ticketing Phase begins today, with South African residents able to buy at FIFA Ticketing Centres, First National Branches and also online.
