The FIFA Fan Fest was such a runaway success in Germany in 2006 that FIFA extends the invitation to come and celebrate the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa to more football fans around the globe.

In addition to FIFA Fan Fest celebrations at all nine of South Africa’s host cities, there will also be FIFA Fan Fest parties rocking in Berlin, Mexico City, Paris, Rome, Rio and Sydney.

FIFA Fan Fests will offer free admission to iconic and central locations where you and your friends can watch all the FIFA World Cup matches live on giant state-of-the art screens and sound/light systems – all in a safe environment that is fully integrated as part of the FIFA World Cup™ programme.

The FIFA Fan Fests are based on the following core principles:

  • Free Entrance, to a secure environment for all visitors
  • All matches are broadcast live
  • As part of the World Cup programme, the FIFA Fan Fests “Look and Feel” like a stadium environment
