Mark Fish, born on 14 March 1974, made his debut for South Africa (Bafana Bafana) in 1993 at the age of 19. In 1996 Mark Fish was part of the historic Bafana Bafana team that won the CAF African Cup of Nations tournament, which was hosted by South Africa. In total Fish won 62 caps for South Africa, finding the back of the net on two occasions.
At club level he has played for Jomo Cosmos and Orlando Pirates in the domestic competition, winning the CAF Champions League in 1995. He has also presented Italy's Lazio, plus English clubs Bolton Wanderers, Charlton Athletic and Ipswich Town.
Fish was also part of the South African squad that played at the nation's first FIFA World Cup™ France 1998.
