Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt, who scored the final goal in the Netherlands 2-0 win over Denmark on Monday, insists he is happy to play anywhere for his country, and was thrilled to be praised for his display by Dutch legend Johan Cruyff.
"It a tremendous compliment and something of great significance to me, as Johan Cruyff is Holland's best ever player," said Kuyt. "I just did my best and will continue to do so. First of all I fulfilled my task on the right side then as a central striker.
"This is a wonderful team with fantastic players, so that makes it easy for me," he added. "I will play where the coach needs me. It does not matter, I just want to start every game. The team is most important, not the individual."
