Morocco-based midfielder Pascal Angan has been handed his first call-up to the Benin side for their 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ qualifier against Ghana on Sunday. There are also qualifying debuts in the offing for the French-born duo John Glele, who plays in Cyprus, and Reda Johnson, who made his Benin bow against Algeria in a friendly international in February.
Angan comes into the squad after Dussuyer recently travelled to watch him in action for his club Wydad Casablanca. Top striker Razak Omotoyossi goes into the game after having scored six goals in as many games for his country in the first phase of group qualifiers.
