What is it?
Fans can show that they’re in FIFA World Cup™ spirit by uploading photos to FIFA.com via their mobile phone or via FIFA.com in the hope at being entered into the ‘Fan of the Tournament' competition.
Users should submit a photo of themselves showing their support for a national team, of the FIFA World Cup™, or of football in general.
Users can upload one photo per day, with an overall maximum of ten photos during the photo upload period.
Photos can be uploaded from the beginning of the tournament on 11 June 2010, until the end of the FIFA World Cup Group Stage on 25 June 2010.
What is the criteria for a photo to be published on FIFA.com and also eligible for the Fan of the Tournament Contest?
To submit photos, users should login to the FIFA.com Club and opt-in to the contest terms and conditions. An upload application is also available for iPhones.
Photos that have more than one person will not be published on FIFA.com and will not be eligible for the Fan of the Tournament contest.
Users should keep the photos clean and make sure they adhere to the rules of the FIFA.com Club (link).
Eligible participants must be 18 years of age or older.
All photos should be 3 Mb or less and in JPEG format.
Users can upload a maximum of ten photos in total, but are restricted to only one per day.
When is the contest deadline (photo upload phase)?
Photos can be uploaded from the beginning of the tournament on 11 June 2010, until the end of the FIFA World Cup Group Stage, on 00:00 GMT 26 June 2010.
Check back on 2 July 2010 to see if your photo made it into the Fan of the Tournament Photo Gallery.
How many times can I enter?
You can upload one photo per day of yourself, with an overall maximum of ten photos during the photo upload phase.
When can I vote on the Fan photos?
Only FIFA.com Club members will have the chance to vote in the Fan of the Tournament contest.
Starting on 2 July 2010, our FIFA.com Club members can vote on the fan photos that made it into the Fan Gallery. The photo with the most votes wins - and the fan in the photo will be declared the Hyundai Fan of the Tournament.
The voting phase will end at 00:00 GMT on 11 July 2010.
No prizes will be awarded for voting.
