Robben Island, for its great historical interests. Table Mountain is our most recognisable landmark. Then there is the V&A Waterfront which is a perfect place for shopping and relaxing.

The warm Cape Town welcome - Capetonians are very friendly people. Cape Town is one of the top tourist destinations in the world.
What's your favourite ‘hang-out' place in the city and why?
The Brass Bell in Kalk Bay - they serve the best seafood in town and the place has an awesome view overlooking the ocean.
If you were to take a day trip out of the city, where would you go?
The Stellenbosch wine route, even though I don't drink.
Who do you think is the most famous person to come out of your city and why?
There are many, but for me it has to be the late musical director and theatre icon, Taliep Petersen.
How is the hosting of the 2010 FIFA World Cup going to impact your city?
Cape Town is already a top tourist destination but infrastructure is being improve to cater for the influx of tourists.
