After enjoying a successful career in the blue and white of Argentina and running out for some of the biggest teams in world football, Juan Sebastian Veron made an emotional homecoming in 2006 to the club closest to his heart, Estudiantes de la Plata.
As a youngster La Brujita learned his trade at Estudiantes before moving on to Boca Juniors and from there to Europe, where he would shine in the colours of Italian trio Parma, Lazio and Inter Milan and for English giants Manchester United and Chelsea. Yet despite receiving a number of offers to continue on the old continent, Veron found the lure of La Plata too hard to resist.
During the course of a distinguished career he won two league titles in Italy and one in England, not to mention four Italian Cups and three Super Cups. In his first year back in Argentinian football Veron also had the immense satisfaction of winning his first championship with Estudiantes. In between he also represented his country in two FIFA World Cup™ finals - France 1998 and Korea/Japan 2002.
Now FIFA.com is giving you the unique opportunity to pose your questions directly to Veron himself.
The Argentinian midfielder has agreed to undertake an exclusive interview in the next few weeks, but rather than us asking the questions, we thought that we'd give you, our users, this once-in-a-lifetime chance.
It is easy for you to send them to us: simply click 'Add Your Comment' below and type in your question. Then click 'Send' - and you will get notification that we have received your question. However, in order to have the chance to 'Ask Juan Sebastian Veron' you must be a member of the FIFA.com Club. Registration is quick, easy and free - so what are you waiting for?
Unlike the 'Have Your Say' debates and other articles on the site, your questions will not be published, but will instead be collected by members of our editorial team, with the best of the bunch put to La Brujita in our exclusive interview, which will appear on the site in the next few weeks.
If you're lucky enough to have your question chosen, your username will appear on FIFA.com in the interview, for example:
cristianofan: Could you define yourself in one word?
Cristiano Ronaldo: In one word?! (Laughing) Brilliant!
Feel free to send in as many questions as you like. We hope that you are lucky enough to have your question chosen but, if not, there will be another chance to ask questions of one of your favourite football stars in the coming weeks.
*The deadline for sending in your questions is 15:00 CET on Monday 8 December 2008.
