Norway defender Tore Reginiussen has said he would walk away from Blackburn rather than extend a week-long trial, insisting the club must have seen enough to make a decision on whether he will be signed in the January transfer window.
Reginiussen, 22, said he desperately needs a break after a hard campaign with Tromso in the Norwegian league, which concluded earlier this month.
"I've told them that I need some time off after a really long season, and therefore I'll take a vacation now," Reginiussen told local newspaper the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
"It's not an option for me to stay here for two more weeks so they can be convinced that I'm good enough. They must rather say now if they are interested or not."
Blackburn boss Paul Ince had asked for more time to decide whether he felt Reginiussen could add something to his squad.
