Forward Jovan Kirovski was traded to the Los Angeles Galaxy from San Jose on Monday in a Major League Soccer deal for a 2010 draft selection. The 32-year-old striker spent two prior seasons with the Galaxy, scoring 12 goals in 48 games in 2004 and 2005. He split last season between Colorado Rapids and San Jose.
"Jovan is an experienced player who we are happy to have back with the Galaxy," Galaxy general manager Bruce Arena said. "He has shown the ability to play abroad and in the MLS."
Assuming they return from loans to Europe, English star David Beckham and USA veteran Landon Donovan will have the chance to play alongside the veteran who spent years in Europe as well.
Kirovski's stops include Manchester United, Birmingham City and Crystal Palace, Germany's Borussia Dortmund and Portugal's Sporting Lisbon.
