Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has been ruled out of England's friendly against Germany on Wednesday after dislocating his shoulder in training at Berlin's Olympic Stadium on Tuesday night.
The 19-year-old had the shoulder put back into place in hospital in the German capital after the accident and a decision on when he will return to England will be taken Wednesday morning.
The striker is expected to be out of action for his club for at least a month. With several key players already missing through injury for England - including Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney - England boss Fabio Capello was naturally disappointed.
"Our priority is Theo and making him as comfortable as possible before he returns to England," said the England coach. "We are all very disappointed, but the important thing is for Theo to travel home and make a quick recovery."
