Traore signs new Gunners deal

Arsenal defender Armand Traore signed a new long term contract with the Premier League club on Monday.

Traore, 18, has made just 18 first team appearances for the Gunners, but manager Arsene Wenger sees the French U-19 international as a ready-made deputy for first choice left back Gael Clichy.

"Everyone at Arsenal is delighted that Armand has extended his contract with the club," a statement on the club's website confirmed.
