Will Scolari succeed at Chelsea?

Luiz Felipe Scolari's UEFA EURO 2008 dream ended on Thursday. So too did his five-year spell in charge of the Portuguese national team.

But the Brazilian has little time to rest. On 1 July he will officially begin his latest challenge, which prompts FIFA.com to ask: will he succeed as Chelsea manager?

Felipão may be more renowned for masterminding Brazil's 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan™ triumph and guiding Portugal to the final of EURO 2004, but he has enjoyed considerable success at club level, winning the Copa Libertadores with two different sides.

Can he now inspire success at Chelsea as he did at Gremio and Palmeiras? The conspicuous obstacle standing on Scolari's path to success is Manchester United, who pipped the Blues to both the Premier League and UEFA Champions League title in the 2007/08 season, although Arsenal and Liverpool are both forces to be reckoned with in England, and Europe's top club competition is awash with contenders.

So, it's over to you. Have your say on whether Scolari will succeed at Chelsea by clicking 'Add your comment', but please remember to keep your posts clean, respectful and in English.
