Dynamos ended a decade-long drought when they were crowned Zimbabwe champions following their 2-0 victory over Shooting Stars on Sunday.
That result coupled with second placed Highlanders 0-1 loss to Monomotapa in Bulawayo gave Dynamos an unassailable 58 points. The outgoing champions Highlanders are on 51 points and cannot go ahead even if they win their remaining two games.
Dynamos triumph also gave them a rare league and cup double one week after they beat Highlanders in the Cup final in Bulawayo.
The success earns the Harare outfit a place in the 2008 African Champions League.
Coach David Mandigora said: "It is for the executive to decide if we will be playing in the Champions League or the CAF Confederations Cup or not," he said
"But personally I would love to play in the Champions League," he told the state-run Herald newspaper.
