Fulham announced Thursday they have signed American international goalkeeper Kasey Keller.
The 37-year-old has plenty of English Premier League experience, having kept goal for Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Cottagers need cover for Finland's Antti Niemi, who was injured in the 2-1 defeat at Arsenal on the opening day of the season.
Tony Warner has deputised but made costly blunders to concede goals in both of Fulham's matches since.
Keller has been playing in the Bundesliga for Borussia Moenchengladbach.
"I'm delighted that Kasey has joined us and I'm sure that he'll be a great addition to the squad," Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez said.
"Obviously with Antti being injured at the Emirates it was important that we added some strength and depth in that area and Kasey is a proven professional with impeccable international credentials.
"It's vital that we have cover in all areas throughout the squad, and I think he will be a valuable asset to us over the course of the season."
Keller added: "It's fantastic to be back in the Premiership after a couple of years' absence, and when the opportunity to join Fulham came up it was an exciting proposition that didn't take too much consideration.
"I know that Fulham already has two quality goalkeepers, but I would like to think that I can add something to the squad in terms of its options, and I am really enthusiastic about this new challenge."
