Camoranesi pens new Juventus deal

Italian FIFA World cup TM-winning midfielder Mauro Camoranesi will be staying at Juventus until 2010 after signing an extension to his contract on Tuesday, the club announced.

Camoranesi joined Juventus in 2002 and has since turned out in 206 games, scoring 21 goals.

The 30-year-old is the third senior player over the summer to pen a new deal at Juve ahead of the new season. French striker David Trezeguet and 2006 FIFA World Cup-winning goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon have both signed on the dotted line, extending their contracts until 2011 and 2012 respectively.

There is uncertainty though over the future of Juventus' Czech Republic midfielder Pavel Nedved, whose contract runs out in 2008.
