Primera Division strugglers Malaga have agreed a deal to sign Morocco international Nordin Amrabat on loan from Galatasaray

The 26-year-old midfielder counts PSV Eindhoven and Kayserispor among his former clubs and has won 15 caps for Morocco, having also previously played at Under-21 level for the Netherlands, where he was born.

A statement on malagacf.com: "Malaga and Galatasaray have reached an agreement for the attacking midfielder Nordin Amrabat to play at the Martiricos club, on loan, until the end of the current season, without the option to buy.

"Amrabat can play in several different positions on the pitch and will wear the number 23 shirt."

Malaga are in the bottom five of La Liga on 21 points, two above the relegation zone, after losing three of their last four matches while drawing the other.
