Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic and his side are hungry to reach the UEFA Champions League final again - and win it - after losing out to Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich in May.
Dortmund were something of a surprise package last season in view of their two previous European campaigns.
Jurgen Klopp's men had crashed out of the UEFA Europa League and the Champions League in the group stage in the two previous years and, after being drawn in a group together with Real Madrid, Manchester City and Ajax, expectations were not so high. However, they made it all the way to the final and were beaten only narrowly by Bayern.
According to Subotic, it was not a "one-off" achievement, and he expects more to come.
"We want to get back into the final again, and this time we don't want to lose it," he told Kicker magazine. "We really have a taste for it because we looked really good at the highest level. We are still young, but we don't want to waste any time."
For many, Dortmund will be weaker next season having lost Mario Gotze to Bayern, but Subotic does not necessarily share that view.
"Of course Mario is a fantastic player, but we showed while he was injured last year that we can play well without him," he said. "We covered for him well and we're definitely going to be able to do that again, I can guarantee it."
