Brazil have sacked coach Mano Menezes.
The 50-year-old received the news following a meeting of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) in Sao Paulo on Friday.
The decision comes two days after Brazil beat Argentina on penalties in the Superclasico de las Americas.
Brazil lost the second leg 2-1 in Buenos Aires, but triumphed on spot-kicks in the tie which featured only players who play in the two countries' domestic leagues.
Menezes was appointed following the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™, replacing Dunga.
He could only guide Brazil to the quarter-finals of the Copa America last year, where they lost on penalties to Paraguay, missing all four spot-kicks.
