America edge Puebla to move fourth

Club America climbed to fourth place in the Mexican Apertura standings on Thursday night courtesy of a 1-0 triumph at lowly Puebla.

Jesus Molina netted the game's only goal 11 minutes before half-time to lift the visitors within five points of leaders Toluca, albeit having played a game more.

The result left Puebla third from bottom, having picked up only 12 points from 14 games so far.
