Australian goalkeeper Ante Covic and Newcastle Jets forward Labinot Haliti are the latest players to sign with new A-League outfit Western Sydney Wanderers, the club said Monday.
Covic, 37, who made three appearances for the national side, joined the Wanderers from Melbourne Victory where he was the club's player of the year last season.
Kosovo-born Haliti, 27, moved to Western Sydney following three years at the Newcastle Jets where he scored 15 times in 92 appearances.
The duo took the number of players signed by Western Sydney Wanderers up to nine as they build to their inaugural A-League home game against Central Coast Mariners on 6 October .
Meanwhile, Melbourne Heart on Monday announced the signing of Sudanese-born attacker Golgol Mebrahtu, whose former A-League club Gold Coast United is now defunct, leaving him a free agent.
Mebrahtu, 21, signed a two-year deal and joined the Heart's other new signings, Irish defender Steven Gray and Liberian international midfielder Patrick Gerhardt.
