Greek Super League club PAOK announced on Thursday that Giorgos Donis will coach the team for the next two seasons. He replaces Romanian coach Laszlo Boloni.

Donis, 42, led Athens club Atromitos to a fourth-place finish this season and a berth in the UEFA Europa League, having also taken the side to the Greek Cup final in the past two seasons. He joined Atromitos in 2009 after spells at AEK and Larissa.

Donis played 24 times for the Greek national team, scoring five goals, and turned out for AEK, Huddersfield Town, Sheffield United, Blackburn Rovers, Panathinaikos and PAS Giannina at club level.
