World and European champions Spain arrived late Tuesday in Schruns, western Austria, for a week-long training camp ahead of next month's defence of their European title in Poland and Ukraine.
The team along with coach Vicente Del Bosque were greeted by a dozen fans under drizzling rain when they arrived at their hotel in the mountain resort.
During this time, the reigning European and world champions will play a friendly match against Serbia on 26 May in St. Gallen, Switzerland, and another on 30 May in Bern against Korea Republic. Several training sessions in Austria will, meanwhile, be open to the public.
La Roja, have trained in Schruns before - ahead of their FIFA World Cup™ triumph in 2010. Should Spain defend their title at the EURO 2012, which runs beween 8 June and 1 July, they will become the first nation to win three international competitions in a row if it can lift the European trophy.
Spain will face Italy, Ireland and Croatia in group C, with their first match against the Azzurri on 10 June in Gdansk, Poland.
