Dutch coach Dick Advocaat, who will leave his post as coach of the Russian national team after UEFA EURO 2012 has signed a one-year deal to take over at former club PSV Eindhoven.
Advocaat will replace Philip Cocu, who had been acting as caretaker since Fred Rutten was sacked in March.
Ernest Faber will be his assistant, with Cocu coaching the club's reserve team.
During his first spell in charge at the Philips Stadion, Advocaat won the Dutch Cup in 1996 and the Eredivisie title in 1997.
Nicknamed the 'Little General', Advocaat had a brief spell in charge of Belgium's national team between October 2009 and April 2010.
In May 2010 he became Russia coach, leading them to this summer's European Championships in Poland and Ukraine, where they will face Greece, Czech Republic and Poland in Group A.
