FC Copenhagen beat derby rivals Brondby 3-1 to move six points clear at the top of the Superligaen. Pape Diouf's 42nd-minute opener for Copenhagen was immediately cancelled out by Simon Christoffersen.
However, goals from Dame N'doye after 51 and 90 minutes sealed the win for the home side, who were further boosted by a defeat for nearest challengers FC Nordsjaelland. Hallgrimur Jonasson's goal seven minutes before the interval saw Kasper Hjulmand's side fall 1-0 at Sonderjyske.
Lyngby came out on top of their relegation battle against Koge with a 4-1 victory. Patrick Mortensen scored a second half hat-trick for the visitors after Frederik Helstrup had fired them in front before the interval. Marcel Romer netted the only goal for Koge, who are now seven points adrift at the foot of the table.
In today's other match, a brace from Christian Holst earned Silkeborg a 2-1 win over AGF Aarhus, who replied late on through Peter Graulund.
