Los Angeles Galaxy came from a goal behind to defeat Real Salt Lake 2-1 and stretch their lead in the Major League Soccer Western Conference to seven points.
Fabian Espindola had given the visitors the lead on the stroke of half-time, but Chad Barrett equalised on the hour before a Nat Borchers own goal handed Galaxy the points.

Sounders bounce back

Drew Moor scored the only goal as Colorado Rapids beat FC Dallas 1-0, while Dominic Oduro scored for Chicago Fire to earn a 1-1 draw away to Houston Dynamo, who had led through Colin Clark.
New York Red Bulls picked up a point away to Toronto FC as Thierry Henry scored in the 88th minute to cancel out Danny Koevermans' opener.
