Bundesliga new-boys Augsburg will be without Cameroonian midfielder Marcel Ndjeng for the next five weeks as he will undergo minor surgery on his ankle.
The 29-year-old has played all four league matches so far this season, after Augsburg were promoted to the Bundesliga for the first time in their history, but he now needs an arthroscopy - a small surgical procedure. "I had some pain again," Ndjeng said.
Augsburg already have cover for Ndjeng in Gambian midfielder Dawda Bah who signed from HJK Helsinki before the transfer window closed on 31 August. The 27-year-old can play on the left or right wing.
