Craig Levein today announced his Scotland squad for the UEFA EURO 2012 qualifiers against Czech Republic and Lithuania on 3 and 6 September respectively.

Levein has called up 25 players, with David Goodwillie and Kenny Miller - who both recently completed moves to English football - expected to lead the attack.

Manchester United's Darren Fletcher will captain the side after Levein said the midfielder is "100 percent" fit and ready to play both matches.

"I'm thrilled," he said. "He's arguably our best player and a perfect role model and example to the rest of the guys in the squad."

Scotland currently sit third in qualifying Group I, 11 points behind runaway leaders Spain and five adrift of the second-placed Czechs, although they have played one game less.
