Salcido returns to Mexico after Fulham stint

Fulham defender Carlos Salcido has joined Mexican side Tigres on a season-long deal after failing to settle in England, the English Premier League club confirmed on Wednesday.

Salcido, 31, joined Fulham last season from PSV Eindhoven but had grown increasingly unsettled following a robbery at his home which prompted his family to leave England.

Salcido, who represented Mexico in both the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cups™, has joined Tigres after undergoing a medical on Tuesday.

Fulham confirmed the loan deal on their official website.
