Marius Stankevicius has spoken of his joy at completing his move to Lazio from Sampdoria. The Lithuanian international became the Biancoceleste's fifth signing this summer.
Stankevicius has moved to Lazio for an undisclosed fee and has penned a three-year contract with the Roman outfit."I am delighted to be here," Stankevicius said. "I am looking forward to begin this new adventure and to meet my new team-mates."
Stankevicius joined Sampdoria in 2008 and made 44 appearances for the club while also spending time with Spanish sides Sevilla and Valencia on loan. The 29-year-old defender has joined Miroslav Klose, Federico Marchetti, Abdoulay Konko and Senad Lulic as new arrivals in Rome this summer.
