Injuries have forced Poland coach Franciszek Smuda to revise his squad for the UEFA EURO 2012 co-hosts' latest friendlies, against Argentina on 5 June and France on 9 June, both at the Legia Stadium in Warsaw.

With Polonia Warsaw's Maciej Sadlok and Turkish club Trabzonspor's Arkadiusz Glowacki both off the defender list, Smuda brought in Legia Warsaw's Jakub Wawrzyniak at the back.

He opted to leave his defensive options a man short, and bolstered his midfield with Grzegorz Krychowiak, on loan to French second division club Stade Reims from top-flight Bordeaux.

Poland squad:

Goalkeepers: Wojciech Szczesny (Arsenal/ENG), Grzegorz Sandomierski (Jagiellonia Bialystok)
Defenders: Lukasz Piszczek (Borussia Dortmund/GER), Kamil Glik (Bari/ITA), Lukasz Mierzejewski (Cracovia), Tomasz Jodlowiec (Polonia Warsaw), Jakub Wawrzyniak (Legia Warsaw), Grzegorz Wojtkowiak (Lech Poznan)
