Injury-prone Dutch winger Arjen Robben will miss both of the Netherlands' key back-to-back UEFA EURO 2012 qualifiers against Group E rivals Hungary, because of a groin strain.

The 27-year-old Bayern Munich star came off after 30 minutes of yesterday's 2-1 Bundesliga win at Freiburg having aggravated the injury he first picked up in last Tuesday's 3-2 UEFA Champions League defeat by holders Inter Milan.

Robben missed the first half of the season with a thigh injury and will now sit out the Oranje's matches against Hungary in Budapest on Friday and the game in Amsterdam a week on Tuesday.

With four wins from four, the Netherlands lead Group E on 12 points with Hungary three points behind in second following their 2-0 defeat to Sweden last September.
